Umami Auburn

Our first time here & it was wonderful. We were seated quickly and our server was very kind. He recommended a few sushi rolls and we ordered the Auburn Firework roll. Our ramen was delicious and was plenty of food. The sushi came out 2 minutes after our ramen and was on fire. The server came by 5 minutes later to properly open the foil for us to eat. Everything was great and service was wonderful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Umami, where I decided to try their medium spicy red Jamppong, mild white Jamppong, and Cheese Pork Cutlet and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experienceThe Jamppong had the perfect level of spice for my taste, offering a satisfying kick without overwhelming my taste buds The broth was rich and flavorful, with a depth of umami that truly lived up to the restaurant's name. Each spoonful was a harmonious blend of spices and seafood that left me craving more.Portion sizes at Umami are generous, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of food served. The serving was more than enough for an adult, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling fully satisfied.What struck me the most about Umami was the attention to detail in the presentation and the use of fresh ingredients. multi cuisine restaurant with great ambience, well maintained, clean and tidy. staff puts in effort to clean the tables unlike other restaurants i have been to.food is amazing. chef gave us extra spicy sauce since we asked for more heat and that was delicious!!! 5 ratings from our side.

5 stars on every aspect. Food, service, ambiance, freshness… I always take long to decide on what to order because every time I go I want to try something new, but I also want to eat what I had the time before. Their menu always keeps you coming back! This is me and my husband’s favorite place to celebrate special occasions!

Came here for the second time and I had better eating experience than the first one. Staffs are sooo friendly and helpful, especially the owner (I think)- he really cares the customers!I got Takoyaki as appetizer, rice w cheese Tonkatsu, rolls and jjamppong or champon (seafood ramen).For the champon, you can either choose white or red soup and select the spicy level that you can handle. For me, medium is good so far. Although I saw Pork leg (jokbal) is offered on Thursdays, I still asked and luckily I had a chance to try this dish. Really delicious! Tender and juicy meat, good proportion for 2-3 people but a bit pricy.I enjoy this meal! Recommend the jokbal and spicy jjampong

Absolutely amazing food. I ordered the Indonesian Spicy chicken and requested it spicier. Depending on your spice tolerance I would highly suggest to request the dish to be made spicier. The chef working even gave me and my friend some complimentary ice cream.
